Thank goodness I never learned how to do my makeup
Day 3 Pt. 1 - Irvine, California // June 13, 2014
Jess and I woke up to meet Louie for coffee nice and early in Irvine. We took a few portraits at a few different retail stores in the mall we were in then went to the desert for the day. Kind of. After our second cup of coffee, I got lost in the back of the coffee shop we were in after asking to use their bathroom where I then found an empty open access studio. We obviously took advantage of it.
Day 2 - Costa Mesa, California // June 12, 2014
Flew into LAX late at night Wednesday and the first thing I did was have my first In & Out experience (unfortunately not pictured) thanks to Kara. B average. The next day, Kara and I met up with Jess at the Lab where I 1) had a really good cup of coffee 2) found a really cool Helmet tape 3) bought some cool local zines and 4) got yelled at by a valet parking guy for using his lot to take photos in. We then left and spent the rest of the day at the beach where the sea took over my sweater’s life. Luckily, I came out alive in a soaked up dress and my picture taken by some friends. Ended the day with a stunning full moon and sunset with a side of mexican food. Great day.
Day 1 - Minneapolis, MN // June 11, 2014
I left Philadelphia that Wednesday the day after my graduation to get on a plane to Minneapolis for my first flight to California. After two hours of the departure time, our plane finally landed in Minnesota around 6:30 P.M where I met Brendan. We drove fifteen minutes to Spyhouse to meet up with Grayson and Lukas, had coffee for nearly ten minutes only to drive fifteen minutes back to the airport to make my 7:47 P.M connecting flight to Los Angeles by just a few minutes… incredible.
It feels good to be editing again
Just wish I had a dog and some guac
